You know I really dont get these things. Its like a journal or diary, but the whole world can read it. Whats the point? I dont know.
Never mind.
Its my birthday tomorrow. Yay. Not. LOL
Life goes on much the same. The puppies I was handraising are now 3 months old. One went to her new home in Adelaide, the other two are here, and went to their first show last weekend. They showed SOOOO well, I was really pleased, considering their considerable lack of lead training! We had this weekend off to go to Michael's nephews birthday party, but then its back to it. We have shows for the next 6 weeks or something like that. Can't wait, been waiting on Keesie babies to show for so long.
Toby's great. Getting so big, saying more and more words.
His favourite show at the moment is Dora The Explorer....or Dora & Boots as he puts it :)
OK ciao for now!

I totally forgot about this place for a while, and I guess it is understandable.
I have been sick. Really sick. Hospital sick.
I am better now. Well 1000% on what I was, even if its not fully cured.
My last post I mentioned how I was sick. I thought it was a cold. But the cough never went away. I started not being able to breath when I did simple things like walking between rooms in the house. If I did anything vaguely physical I was left gasping for breath. I would go to bed and almost hyperventilate trying to catch my breath.
GPs had me on numerous courses of antibiotics. Finally went to Hospital with massive pain in my side. They sent me home. About 3 weeks later the GP told me to go back, as I still was no better.
They kept me in hospital for 9 long long days. I had every test under the sun, Xrays, CT scans, Nuclear scans, ECGs and the most fun of them all, a Bronchoscopy. EWWWWWWWW! I think I would prefer another c-section thanks!
So the final diagnosis is made when ALL the tests come back negative. Its' called Extrinsic Allergic Alveolitis (hope I spelled that right! lol) and it basically means I have become allergic to my pet budgies, and my lungs will pack it in any time I hang around birds. So the birdies have had to go :(
Toby turned into a daddys boy while I was locked up (in the geriatric ward I might add!) I was a bit of a hospital identity for a while, because my oxygen levels were so low for one so young! haha
I've been home about a month now, and am slowly regaining my general fitness levels. Sitting around a hospital all that time really took it out of me.
OK here are some Toby pics :)

My sciatic hurts. Damn thing.
Toby's crusing around using his high chair like a walker. He has been sooooo grumpy today, all he wants is the TV remotes, and when he cant have those he wants to use the mouse and keyboard and when he cant have those, he screams. Yay. Sending me batty. He better be getting the last of his teeth, or else he is just a sooky la la.
I have now got 3 judging appointments! Woohoo! March in Sydney, April a Kees Specialty in Sydney and then June in Wagga! So I just need one more Sydney appointment and then hopefully I will have my numbers up and can then judge interstate. I can't wait, its been ages since I last judged.
I ordered Michael a puppy, as a wedding/engagement present. She is yet to be concieved, but hopefully she will be worth the wait. He was so excited that he has finally (after like 5 years) put my old aviary back up to use as a dog house, and moved Barts run to the other side of the yard. Its all done, and ready for the new addition. Here's a pic.

And this is Bart

I'm a bit bored so thought I might post the progress of my cross stitch. I have been taking photos, just to see what it looked like as it came along.

So that's it for now, I do my cross stitch in spurts and I have not really done much to it for a while. I will put up more shots as I go along.
Hope everyone is well!

I just watched the Ray Martin interview with Terri Irwin.
:'(
How very heartbreaking. I cried for her and the children.
Earlier tonight we went and spent a bit of time with Samantha, who I got to know off EMC. Toby & Cheyanne are only about 4 months different in age, and it was good to see how Toby interacted with others around his age. He was such a good boy, even though he was dead tired.
Here are the two in action :D

Today they held Steve Irwin's Memorial, at the Crocoseum at Australia Zoo.
It was special and moving, and yep I cried. It's still unbelievable. I feel for his family who so cleary loved him. RIP Steve.

There has been nothing much to write about lately. Hence I haven't been in for a while.
However I just got some photos taken a fortnight ago, of Toby, complete with new hair cut so I thought I would post them on here. The dog in question is a Kees called Bart, owned by Angela & Peter. Angela snapped the pic when Toby and Bart were playing at a show. Toby is extra gentle with Bart and vice versa. With our Lhasa girls he is soooo rough, so its interesting to see him interact with other dogs.
Hope everyone is well.

OK WHO turned on the tap up there? Oh maybe its all the tears being shed, for not only were we subject to the sudden and unexpected death of Steve Irwin, we then yesterday have the death of Peter Brock, racing legend, in a car accident in a rally he was in. Who ever is causing the rain, I have had enough already!
Not much else to report here at the moment. I bought a couple of terracotta planters yesterday and a bunch of succulant plants and have made them up on my kitchen window sill. They look really cool, I hope they like it there, I have trouble finding plants that like my window sill!
Till next time!

Well we went and bought my engagement ring and wedding ring today!! OK So its on order, and I should have it in about 2 weeks time. I will be excited once I actually have a ring to wear :)
Had a good 50 minute walk tonight.

Oh My God, Steve Irwin is dead. What a total shock. I just cannot believe it, it brought tears to my eyes when I heard it.
RIP Steve.

Toby had his first 'proper' haircut today.
The hairdresser was very good, and he was such a good boy. He looks just gorgeous! So grown up!! I will post new photos soon.

This afternoon Michael, Toby and myself went to the movies! First time all together, 2nd time since Toby was born. Boring I know, but hey......we saw 'My Super X Girlfriend' which was good for a laugh. Toby was pretty good, he watched little bits, ate donuts, and then slept on my shoulder.
Funny thing, before we went I had said " there will only be 4 people in there' (when Michael wondered about taking Toby) and guess what? There were 4 people in there when we walked in! LOL
And yes Im SORE today :) But its a good soreness, means the walking is working I guess.

Because I am so slack and never write down all those really important dates that everyone expects you to memorise, I thought I would start a LJ so I can jot down these things as they come to me!
So here I am.
About a week ago my partner of 7 years proposed in a very unromantic fashion! However the fact he DID ask means the world to me simply because I never thought I'd see the day! For the record I said yes. LOL.
After having my son I've found it really hard to juggle baby stuff, work, house AND looking after me and me has really been neglected. Since the 'proposal' though I have renewed enthusiasm and am going to try and get back in shape. More diligence with healthy eating, but more so making time to exercise. So yesterday was day one, we (me and the munchkin) went for a walk before dinner. 40 mins. Not too bad. Tonight we went 1hr 20 mins. I already have some sore muscles, but I know I will feel it tomorrow! But at least its a start. I just put the headphones in, turn on the music and we are off. And its dark so no one gets to see LOL
I will leave you with a few pics of the little man in my life, who is a never ending source of love, amusement, frustration, admiration....he is the light of my life, one of those loves you never ever imagined could exist. Where your heart feels like it could burst from your chest with the pride you feel. My bubba Toby.
His first bath in the hospital
September 2005 ~ 3 months old. We were at a dog show - my first as a judge, my mum baby sat on the side lines!
And here he is chasing down some doggies, who he LOVES to annoy! Luckily they can retire to safety.....
